As part of the role you have to work closely with the Plant Accounting Services team as a customer of the Trial Balance data to ensure its accuracy and completeness; and with the Sector Controlling team to ensure the appropriate control environment is in place on-site. 

Requirements for the role: 

  • University degree qualification - essential.
  • Professional accounting qualification, e.g. ACA, CIMA or equivalent - desirable.
  • Significant and substantial experience embedding compliance to accounting policies and controls in a global organisation. 
  • Significant and substantial experience within Finance function preferably in the manufacturing environment. Other industries considered.  
  • Experience in the chemicals / automotive industry would be ideal. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide appropriate challenge and insight, often under time pressure. 
  • Deep proficiency in IFRS preferred
  • Experience in leading on controls, compliance, and risk management. 
  • Experience working collaboratively across functions to achieve shared organizational goals.
