CA Pankaj Goel had to deal with the loss of his dad few months before his CA Final exam. In spite of all the difficulties, he cleared eventually his CA Final.
“I was a bright student in school. My accounts teacher recommended me to opt for CA as a career and I rightly obliged,” says CA Pankaj Goel from Panipat, Haryana.
CPT & IPCC Journey:
“I passed my CPT (1st level CA exam) and IPCC (2nd level CA exam) in the 1st attempt itself and was hopeful of clearing CA Final in the same manner. But life had some other plans for me.
Dealing with Personal Loss:
My father passed away in the last year of my articleship. I was shattered. We lost our home, business and literally everything. Words can’t express the difficulties we faced.
CA Final Journey:
My CA Final 1st attempt was due in May 2015 which I failed miserably. Our financial condition was deteriorating fast but I was still HOPEFUL of passing. Once again I tried and again I failed. With hopes dimming, it was May 2016 when I cleared CA Final Group – 2 (CA Final has 2 groups, containing 4 papers in each group). That was like a ray of hope from nowhere. I finally managed to clear my CA Final in May 2017 in the 5th attempt.
Advice:
For all those who feel like giving up, I have one thing to say – NOT TO LOSE HOPE AND TO KEEP ON WORKING HARD.
Lehra Se Darr Ke Nauka Paar Nahi Hoti, Koshish Karne Walo Ki Kabhi Haar Nahi Hoti,” he concluded.
