After waiting for 7 months, I started my CA articles at BDO India, thanks to LinkedIn. Was the wait worth it?

Hailing from Ranchi I cleared my CA intermediate in both groups in the first attempt and started applying for my articleship in a Big Sized firm. Ever since I began my CA journey there was a desire to do my articleship from a Big sized firm. Unfortunately, Covid came and because of the lockdown, there were no vacancies for articleship. I started losing hope, and my friends also suggested that I do it from a small-sized firm instead. But I kept patient. 7 months after applying the moment finally came and I got a call from BDO. Thankfully I cleared all three rounds of the interview; HR Round, Managerial Round, and Partner level, and got into BDO. Everyone from my manager to the associates was so helpful. BDO has not only helped me grow professionally but personally as well. In hindsight I am glad that I waited those 7 months, otherwise, the learnings would not have been this vast. Today I want to share with you guys how I utilized LinkedIn to get into BDO for my articleship, prepared for the interview, managed my CA Final study among others.
