Despite clearing CA intermediate exam in the 4th attempt I got selected at Grant Thornton Bharat for my CA articles

My CA journey has been full of ups and downs. After clearing the first group of CA intermediate in the second attempt I joined a mid-sized firm for my Articleship. But actually, the goal was to pursue my articleship from a Big 4 firm. Alas, that did not happen. I cleared my second group of CA intermediate in the seventh attempt in November 2020. After that, I thought of applying to all the top 20 CA firms for my articleship so that I can move out from the midsized firm. Fortunately, I received interview opportunities from around 15 companies such as EY, BDO but did not get selected. However, those interviews improved my communication skill. Finally, after waiting for a while I got a call from Grant Thornton Bharat and I was able to clear all three rounds of the interview; HR Round, Technical Round, Director Round. Then I joined their statutory audit department as an article trainee. At the end along with some other advice, I want to share with you guys how LinkedIn helped me get into GT, how the interview process went, and how you can also utilize this professional networking platform to advance your career.
